Do you happen to know if the EPA is still accepting email submissions?
I am pretty sure that they are not. Mailed submissions were due by last day in August so I presume email submissions were due by then as well.

This is a summer law clerk position, not a post-grad honors program. I heard EPA is still unsure whether they will be hiring entry level attorneys through the honors program this year (they didn't last year).

ya i got an invite for a phone interview at CFPB. They said they're interviewing over the next three weeks.
Also got CFPB invite this week. Seems like they are hiring by department, based on the email I got.

Does anyone have a sense as to what the application—>interview—> offer ratio is for the HP positions? I’m sure it varies by agency but if there are something like 10 openings, how many phone interviews would you expect there to be for each opening? All I’ve heard is that it’s very competitive but there don’t seem to be a lot of hard numbers out there. My career office is pretty useless at this stuff. Thanks!

Just curious, how do you average 91 posts a day on this forum with a total of some 339,000 posts  Also, are you still applying since 2015? I saw your comments from years ago on your DOJ interviews and references being contacted.

Mine went referred a few a weeks ago, nothing since. Status has changed from “you are among the best qualified candidates and have been referred for the next step” to “application under preliminary Quals review.” It seems like they are still working though the process.

Which sub-office(s) did you do telephone interviews with? Same as in-person interview(s), or is the in-person interview more generalized?

Anyone hear back from USPS? Idea of how many people they are hiring and inviting back for second rounds?

Nope. My status flipped back from “preliminary quals review” to the “best qualified” status it had before, which doesn’t seem promising.

My email inviting me to an in-person just said "multiple offices" were interested. I know that includes at least Enforcement (with whom I had a phone interview) and Supervision Policy (with whom I have not). Also had phone interviews with Legal Division and Regulations.

Has anyone who got the CFPB in-person invite received their interview schedule? I sent in my forms and availability last week but have yet to hear back with scheduling. I’m not local and it’s getting to be crunch time.

No, haven’t heard anything about scheduling either. I also need to make plans so hopefully we’ll all hear soon.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
