Ahh, just saw the message on Avue. Thanks.

It wasn’t a targeted message. It’s under the Community tab.

Did anyone's AGHP status move from anything other than "Complete - Application Received"?

No, I don't think we can anticipate a change in status until interview selections

Congratulations on the call! Was it from a formal or informal component?

I got hired through Honors and am starting my second year of my clerkship with EOIR. When I interviewed with both EOIR and ENRD last time (ranked 1st and 2nd, respectively), ENRD flat out asked me why I didn't rank them first... wasn't expecting that, as I was told not to worry about rankings. This time, I only ranked Crim. Might end up having been a bad idea, but I wanted to show them I'm serious and really want the position. Fingers crossed. Best of luck to everyone out there.

I don't want to out myself in case they're on here, but I will say that there was no discussion as to whether or specifically when I would interview with this particular component.

The community tab on Avue, right next to your inbox.
Thanks but I still can't find it. Once I am in the community tab, it brings me to a list of the various forums:
Forums Support, Information Technology, Medical, Acquisition, Legal, Finance, International and Foreign Service, Trades & Crafts, Wildland Firefighting, Law Enforcement, Emergency Personnel, Other. Even poking around in legal I can't find anything. Am I missing something here?

You're looking in the general DOJ location, not the one specific to the honors program.
You can either click on your application, which will show you a pop-up with the link to go to, or you can go directly here:

I am a former SLIP and current HP applicant. I already interviewed for HP while I was still a SLIP this summer. I really want to work at DOJ. If I get other job offers before HP offers come out, would it be advisable to contact my component, tell them I have other offers, and ask if they can do anything? Any insight from former HP hires?

2018 HP hire here. Your situation is different from mine because I didn’t do SLIP, but yes, that’s what I would do in that situation. I interviewed with multiple divisions and was in contact with the hiring folks for each as I received offers. They seemed to appreciate it and were able to give me answers quickly as a result.

I didn't, but am familiar with National Security. Why the panic?

There’s no point panicking now, your position isn’t any different than it was when you submitted the app. Interview notifications go out on October 1. You won’t hear anything until then (regardless of one report of one call that wasn’t about an interview).

Yeah, that's why I didn't pick it at all, as interesting as I thought the work would be.

There was only 1 spot when you applied, too. No point in starting to panic now.

HP Interview Selections Are Posted
Greetings, all:

I just posted the HP interview selections and issued a detailed (and I mean really detailed) message on how to determine which components selected you and how to schedule your interview.

If your status is unchanged (e.g., continues to read "Application Received"), then you were not, at this time, selected as an interview candidate. It is possible for hiring components to request additional candidates as the process continues - if so, we will notify those individuals directly.

It is possible for informally participating components and for other DOJ organizations to request access to applications at any time during the period that your application remains open. We generally close out the current pool when we open the next application cycle; but we provided candidates for consideration by hiring offices as late as August 2019.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

I just got the email: selected to interview with both components I listed (CRT and EOIR).

Good luck to all today!

(and also, have hope...I'm coming straight from law school--no judicial clerkship experience).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
