I haven't heard anything specifically but I recall last year that they functioned on separate schedule than the national office. Typically,, their offers were out much quicker than—and well before—the national office offers that went out earlier this week.

I got a call earlier this week from a field office telling me they’re very interested, but the official call will come from HR and it will take more time. They were very clear the call was not a job offer and asked that I be patient. No indication on how much more time.

Interview scheduled for this week for DC office

In the interview today they said only 1 interview and they hope to get offers out at the end of December.

SEC offices operate on different schedules. I know some offices called with offers yesterday but others have not submitted their finalists. One office (not regional) I interviewed for followed up with me to say that HR will call with offers the first week in December.

I doubt it. I don't think they call or you until they know their candidates passed the background check etc. Pretty safe to assume that if you don't hear from them, you didn't get the gig

That makes sense. I wish all agencies were diligent about updating candidates on their status like DOJ is. Me sad.

I interviewed with a regional office (ATL). They do two interviews and during our first meeting they said they hope to have decisions out in December.

I also did an interview with ATL. Everyone told me there is only 1 round of interview with DOL. So if I didn't get a 2nd one this means I am out?
