Well. Dang. I had pretty competitive stats, DOJ experience, clerkships, etc., and none of my references have been contacted by crim, to the best of my knowledge. Taking that as a sign that it’s over.

It appears one of the components I interviewed with disappeared from my DOJ application status portal, while the other component is still listed under “selected for interview.”
One of mine has also disappeared. ATR WASH.

ATR FELL still listed as "Selected for Interview".

Im throwing in the towel. References haven't been contacted yet so I'm thinking it's over. Good luck to everyone else!

Does anyone know if you only interview with one component, will it still disappear? Or does that only happen if you interviewed with multiple?

Under "status," it says "closed." When you click on the link titled "closed," it takes me to a page that says "STATUS OF VACANCY: Closed." Directly below this message, it says, "Read Only - Cannot Be Updated." And below this, there is a subheading called "Application Status," and directly under this heading, it reads "Complete - Application Received."

Is yours in any way different? Thanks.

Mine too :/ I had EOIR-OP, OCIJ and BIA but now BIA has fallen off. My references were not checked for BIA but were for the other two.

Update: My status changed to "finalist".

Based on previous years, a disappearing component is a good thing! Keep checking!

My ATR-FELL dropped off and its just ATR-WASH and it says "Finalist" under status.
Damn. How likely is it for a finalist to actually make it?

Not necessarily honors related, but have you ever had a situation where DOJ calls some references, but not all references. Like 2/3 or 3/4?

I only applied to USTP and my status still shows "selected for interview." I'm glad I haven't been dropped, but like someone else said, I'm not sure that one-component people would drop even if they'd been passed over. I had been ready to put this out of my mind until Friday but now that some (which??) components have started selecting finalists I'm just going to be refreshing as a psycho. I would be grateful if any USTP folks who get their statuses changed could sound off once it happens :)

Has anyone heard whether Tax has designated finalists?

I think mine is different, or at least I'm not following your steps right.
Main page on Avue, in the table under status it says "selected for interview" just as it has been. There is no link in clicking on "selected for interview."
This is where it would either continue say "selected for interview" or change to "finalist" or something, which it hasn't.

When clicking on "2022 AGHP and SLIP" under "announcement" on that table, it takes me to a page called Application Information, and underneath it says:

You have completed the required items for this application.

Updates will be posted when significant decisions are made.

Btw, Deana posted an update yesterday. It says some components have identified finalists and gives more info on the process.

I'm confused why they aren't sharing results component by component this year. This process seems a lot more vague and stress-inducing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
