Century City - Where do associates live?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jul 02, 2021 12:13 pm

Starting as a first-year in a market firm in Century City. SO and I want to keep housing budget for a 2BR under 3,000/mo. Doing corporate/M&A and expect to have extra long hours in the office, so I don't want a long commute, but there doesn't seem to be great options in the area--looking for walkable and interesting, not $10M condos. Century City associates, where do you live?

There are law offices in Century City predominately because it's surrounded by extremely wealthy neighborhoods. You could try to go south but the areas are going to be very not glitzy. Culver is ok, but you get into Inglewood fast. If you're willing to have a ~30 minute commute go into the SFV, Encino and Sherman Oaks are affordable and you just take the 405 at walking pace for half an hour to get to CC.
