Public to Private: challenges and benefits Forum

I’m contemplating a move from the public sector to private sector (litigation) and would love to hear some of the challenges and benefits people have experienced. There are easy ones (no salary ceiling on private side and little job security vs. lower pay + great benefits), but I’d be interested in folks’ personal experiences making this switch.
