OVEREMPLOYMENT TALK: Remote in-house lawyer at two very different companies? Forum

Overemployment due to availability of remote work appears to be on the rise. Lots of tech workers already do this (2-3 remote jobs) but couldn't this also be done for non-law firm lawyers? Of course, law firms and solo practitioners already do this and can work for as many clients as they want (assuming conflicts clear), but how would it be different for a remote in-house lawyer serving a single client? Couldn't that in-house lawyer get a second job as an in-house lawyer at a completely different company in another industry? (think a corporate counsel at a small pharma + corporate counsel at a car manufacturer) So long as there is no actual or perceived conflict, there is no disclosure/consent requirement from the two clients. I can see law firm lawyers having a much difficult time pulling off something like this because law firms consistently take on new clients from all industries, but this is not the same for inhouse lawyers. Putting aside the practical concerns (hours of work, scheduling, employment contractual terms), any legal/ethical concerns?
