Hi everyone,
I am curious as to which area of law could lead to a "well paid" completely remote (or going to the office just once a month) in-house job, from what I can see on job portals it seems like IP or M&A in house jobs but I've never really researched thoroughly. Any information is welcome.

It has more to do with the company's field than the specific area of law, since your employment policy follows everyone else at the company. Remote-first tech company is going to have remote in house counsel. In-person defense contractor or oil drilling or endangered squirrel killing factory that requires in person attendance for its minions requires in person for its legal too.
