I took the test at Santa Cruz. The testing center itself was in the middle of Santa Cruz's very large campus and difficult to find. I actually had to ask campus security where the building was because the admissions office was closed. I'm glad I scouted the campus the day before the test, otherwise I would have been screwed. Parking was a little inconvenient. On the weekends, the nearby bookstore parking lot is free, but there are only a handful of spaces that get taken immediately. There's a parking lot somewhat nearby, but that got filled up pretty fast, too. You might also have to pay. And then you have to walk up like 100 steps to the building. Just don't show up late - there's a lot of driving and walking involved. The desks were tiny and the classroom was sort of like stadium seating. My desk wasn't big enough for my booklet, so I kept that on my lap. Slowed down my time.primusux wrote:Hey everyone, thanks so much for all of the replies. It looks like everything in the Bay Area is full except UC Santa Cruz. Any experience there?
I'd recommend McGeorge if any seats are still open. They provided long tables. Lots of workspace.
