Taking shots of hard alcohol before the LSAT Forum

I first time I took the test I was so nervous that I freaked out and completely bombed it. I was thinking about once I get to the test center, taking a couple pre-game chugs in my car then rolling right in (not getting drunk, but a little buzzed to relieve any pressure).

Would this be a bad decision?

No.

Most LSAT prep courses tell you to do this. I thought that was common knowledge.

I did it before everyone of my Spanish oral exams---it really relaxed me; I didn't think about what I was saying I just blurted shit out in Spanish. Nothing lower than a 95%.

I wouldn't do it on the real thing, but I saved one practice exam for after the real deal. My plan was to take this test hammered. Thought it would be kinda fun. So depressing if I score higher...

During the test the next morning, I felt great (I even think I finished early). The great feelings went away when I saw the 65 I scored on the test, which everyone else I know aced. Yep, of course I did. I was on cloud nine for a few days until I got my grade. I thought I had stumbled upon the greatest innovation in learning since the internet: drink, get some ass, and ace a test. Not so much.

This is how the Red Sox broke the Curse of the Babe - they were choking against the Yanks once again, then someone came in the locker room, saw everyone failing prey to negativity/fear, and made everyone do shots - the rest is history, the Yankees suck, the Red Sox are champs.

Hmm... maybe a couple shots and the LSAT will fail to challenge anyone anymore just like the Yankees...

I just remembered that I took the SAT hungover in 12th grade. I actually increased my score 60 points from my first attempt.
