July LSAT and waitlists

Post by 239840 » Tue Jun 02, 2020 1:35 pm

Do you guys think the July LSAT would be too late for it to help with waitlists? The results are supposed to come out on July 30th this year. I'm also signed up for the June LSAT. Both will be in the new "Flex" format. I signed up for the July exam because there's only a month between the exams and I figured it wouldn't be too hard to continue prepping for a few more weeks.

Mike Spivey of Spivey Consulting Group advises law school applicants. Here's his advice. If you're waitlisted, getting a higher LSAT score is one thing you can do to set yourself apart. But there are other actions that might be easier. Email the admissions office about once a week. Visit the school. There may be 1,000 people on that waitlist. Not everyone will visit. If you schedule a visit, it shows you're interested.
