Tuesday Tip #4 with LSAT Madness - RC Note Taking

Post by lsatmadness » Wed Mar 18, 2020 4:42 am

Hey LSAT Squad,

Hope you're really going at those free notes! Wanted to give you another great Tuesday tip as you continue on with your LSAT Prep through these times. This one is about RC note taking. Often times, it is very tempting to write in a bunch of notes. Especially now with the digital and the number of distracting/interesting tools that come into play, the temptation to go all Picasso on those tablets is high. However, from experience, it is best to avoid this. Not only is time wasted, but little engagement occurs when you underline everything. Instead, a good thing to do is highlight the sentence that best indicates the key point of the paragraph. This helps you remember WHERE TO FIND information GENERALLY, which is more important. And it keeps you more engaged since you are actively looking for what one sentence to underline.

The less of the lines, the best of the times!
