+1 I was feeling like an LSAT god until RC. Specifically until the judges passage. I might go -6 on a single passage jfc.Mikey wrote:I had no anxiety until I reached RC, it all went down hill from thereGluteus wrote:Anyone else have literally zero anxiety while writing the test?

You mean the 3rd LR or 3rd section (LR2). Mine was LR-LG-LR-LR-RC. I feel like i destroyed the 2nd LR (3rd section). Other 2 felt harder. The easiest one wouldn't be the experimental would it? Can't remember questions just that the first 2 were 25 questions.Gluteus wrote:LR1 and 3 were real 98% fo shodas_Gesetz wrote:For those who had LR-LG-LR-LR-RC, which of the LR sections was experimental? Re: September 2017 Waiter's Thread
Pretty much. I know i went -0 in LG. LR went about as usual, though I hope the section I felt best on is not the experimental. So ofc everything came down to RC, like usual for me (which appropriately was last). I do RC passages by length, doing 7 and 8 question passages first. When I got to that Judge passage second i started cursing lol. I feel comfortable with most of the answers that I gave but I definitely feel like I needed a lot more time to check them against the passage.Mikey wrote:I had no anxiety until I reached RC, it all went down hill from thereGluteus wrote:Anyone else have literally zero anxiety while writing the test?

So basically I can say with confidence that whether I scored in the 170s is almost entirely reliant upon my RC score, which itself is largely based on how I did on Judges. Going to be a long wait for the score ...

First stop was Flying Saucer. Second was a store for a six pack.Mikey wrote:who is already tipsy or drunk
I feel great about this exam. I struggled on time on the rainforest passage on RC, then found another gear I hadn't found during PTing. I finished with enough time to review, including correcting an answer on the second passage. Judges didn't strike me as a world-beater, just the hardest of the four. I have no idea what sort of curve to expect, but obviously hope for a generous one.

Re: September 2017 Waiter's Thread
That felt almost identical to June in terms of difficulty, but the harder LR was slightly easier and the RC was harder. I'm thinking -9 again.
I thought the end of the first (25 questions I think) LR was really tough. I thought the 2nd and 3rd passages were really hard. This does not bode well.

Goddamn it this is the real one i guess. Annoyed. Thought the exp lg was so easy and this one it was easy except the restaurant one for me. I just couldnt figure it out, was getting so sleep by then (3 hours sleep). Dont know if i should cancel or not...??? Had to basically guess all 5 qs for this one. Thought the other sections went p well.

Checking in.
Predicting -10 curve. A curve tighter than -9 seems ridiculous, it would become a poorly designed test at that point.
Last 10PT average coming in to this was 177.5, but I would be happy with 174+ at this point. Nerves got to me and I'm not sure I was fully focused, especially on LR2. Could see anywhere from -3 to -9.

I say -10 because the likelihood of back to back -9 curves is low. idk, I'd say -10 tho
