LSAC JUST MOVED MY TEST DATE Forum

I got email from LSAC said that they have to reassign a test center for me but when I downloaded the new admission ticket they move the test date from Sept. 17 (the official Asian Australian test date) to Sept. 16. DID IT EVER HAPPEN BEFORE THAT LSAC JUST CHANGED THE DATE LIKE FUCK IT??? anybody got the same email like me??? if anybody gonna take the test in Asian Australian area is your date also changed??? I am so freaking out this messed up my whole traveling plan for the test... I have to book new train tickets and hotel

Same here, test date moved to Sep 16 and test center reassign. I was like what??????

Same here. Registered for a test center in Hong Kong and got reassigned to another one 30mins away. Test date changed fron 9/17 to 9/16 too.

Already emailed LSAC urging them to figure this out, or I would be pursuing some adequate compensation from them for the extra cost of changing all my hotel reservations and plane tickets.

I got told by somebody that this is not the first time that LSAC made a mistake like this... this happened before that they changed the test date and changed it back. but we have to wait until they give any replies. somebody called the test center in HK and they said they were also waiting for LSAC.

but more likely than not the test center is going to change... I mean if it is in the TX or FL I can understand but for HK????? what tf is beyond controlled five days before the test???

My understanding, per a phone call with LSAC this morning, is that the email was just to move some test centers and no date was moved. My understanding is that LSAC will be notifying everyone ASAP.

Please note I am not LSAC and I don't know the person on the other end of the phone. So while it would *seem* that no test dates will be moved, I am only 99% sure of that.

I hope this eases some understandable nerves.
