RC Author's Tone/Attitude Questions Forum

Does anyone have any advice on these types of questions (ie. Which one of the following most accurately characterizes the authors attitude towards _____" ... implicit acceptance, noncommittal curiosity, respectful dismissal, detached indifference etc.

I can always eliminate 2 or 3 based on whether the attitude is generally positive or not but seem to get stuck between two that are on the same general side of the spectrum but slightly differing in degree (ie implicit acceptance vs. hesitant agreement).

Maybe something about my personality and the intonation I read with in my head has me interpreting their tone differently than I'm supposed to?
