Working memory and lsat performance Forum

The relationship between reading/arithmetic ability and working memory capacity has been discussed a fair bit over the past 20 years. I've wondered how much slow intelligence ("common sense", taste, creativity, problem solving) vs fast intelligence (processing speed, short term memory retention, immediate intuition) factor in to learning and taking this test. Obviously these are just stabs at definitions of very complex things, but I hope you know what I'm getting at.

This is a straight forward monkey memory game. I understand that such a narrow task can't account for all your mind's memory processes but I'm interested to know if there is a relationship between performance on this game and performance on the lsat.

Please share your experiences with the test and your scores.

Highest I can get is 6.

PT is 160-165 timed, 175-180 untimed. Logic games are my weakest section.

I took it several times, each time scoring 6.

It repeats the same patterns, so if inclined, I could probably do it 8 times and remember, but I am not inclined. The LSAT is doing this thing 120 times.

I got 7, but I don't think that's indicative of anything

Scored a 9 so I doubt this has anything correlation haha still pretty fun...i guess
