Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread- Dowsing for 180s
I mentioned earlier in the thread that this is common (with those similar words lol.) High scorers probably feel it worse since it's likely they have devoted more time to prep. After today I am going to start to focus on another goal of mine to relive some anxiety while waiting for a score, and I think I'll review LSAT here and there to satisfy that strange craving lol.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:Anyone else experiencing post-parLSATum depression?

Yeah, I decided to just start working on some professional development courses offered through my work, even though I know I won't be around to complete the programFuture Ex-Engineer wrote:Anyone else experiencing post-parLSATum depression?

Start on your applications. I just pulled together all the information I need to start brainstorming my statements and junk with the person helping me.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:Anyone else experiencing post-parLSATum depression?

I applied and got in everywhere except H/S last year...was really only sitting a cycle because I know I can get more scholarship with something better than a 168. Revising my PS will probably take a week tops.vtdelt wrote:Start on your applications. I'm a clerk/office assistant at a mass tort plaintiffs firm. It's nice because I've gotten a lot of experience dealing with clients, and do quite a bit of drafting. The partner I deal with directly is young and very laid back, which has been nice balancing work and LSAT stuff the last few months. The downside is I don't really like plaintiff's work. I thought I did, and I believe in what we do, but it's a nasty business at times, and a lot of the clients are a pain in the ass. Just trying to get that risperdal money.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:What do y'all do

Commercial lit and white-collar. I want to try cases, which is probably a pipe dream, but I'd basically like to be some glorious hybrid of David Boies, Fred Bartlit, and John Keker, nbd.heyduchess wrote:What kind of law are you interested in?

Any other FBI-interested peeps in the June crowd? There were a couple others sharing my interest last cycle, but pretty sure none of them re-cycled this time around

I've toyed with the idea of OCS during 1L summer just because Chris Colby told me they've had a number of Lawhoos do that before. I think OCS would be a helpful qualification for where I want to go long term career-wise

We got too many career folks in here that either aren't able or aren't willing to shirk their duties to chat on TLS. I regret that most of the time during the day I'm among the first group.amta wrote:how is everyone? you all need talk more.
But to answer, going on a date for the first time in ages Friday, so pretty excited looking forward to that
