I had a dream last night it was gray day. Looked at my results and only missed 8 questions. As I screamed with joy I woke up...

Just curious what other people think on this.
Why would you plan on attending a #50-100 school????? That is just not a good idea. I would re-take until accepted to T30 or higher (1-30) with $$$$$$$$$$. Look at employment outcomes at 50-100 and compare those to 1-30 or even 1-20.
The only reason is because it will be paid for by the Veterans Affairs. Any school accepted to is paid so just curious, that is all..
Take until 170 or higher (though high 160s like 168/169 may suffice). Apply to T20 and higher (4-20 or 1-20) depending on your GPA--if any school is paid, then aim for highest rank possible that makes sense for your employment goals/region you want to work. 50-100 is not a good idea even if paid for.
Doesn't this largely depend on the market though? I mean, St. John's (#72) is almost never a good idea, but University of South Carolina (#88) can be ideal for someone looking for government/small law in SC. The "anywhere under T25 is shit" mentality here is one of the reasons why this site has earned a reputation for elitism.
Amen. As an aspiring biglaw whore, shitlaw gets a bad rap. Plenty of examples where people in my state went to Widener law TTTT and are in personal injury making way more than partners at the big 4 (RLF, MNAT etc.)

USC is shit anyway. Source: grew up in SC. Worst fans in the world
Wait... So did I? May I ask which region? (i.e.: Upstate/Piedmont, Mid-lands, Lowcountry?)

Don't think of it as a dream, think of it as a vision. It's going to happen.

I want to work on my PS but can't think about anything other than scores at this point. I know i went -0 on LG, and I didn't struggle with time on the other sections, but going -6 on one section isn't out of the question for me. Just want this damn score back.

Same boat. I could have honestly gone anywhere between 168 and 180 and it's killing me.

That's the crazy part about the LSAT. People look at me funny when I tell them I studied for 5 months and don't know what I got on the test or that I might have to retake. Before I started studying, I'd prob think the same thing, I thought I'd be hitting 180 consistently by test day lol.

I don't think my home qualified as any of those (midlands = middle area around Columbia, Upstate = Greenville/Clemson/Spartanburg/Anderson, Lowcountry = coast?).

We always said ours was part of the sand/clay hills part of SC

If they weren't done with the scores, wouldn't there need to be people working today so that they're at least done by later this week? Maybe they are done and the scores are automatically set to send this afternoon. Fingers crossed.

Not doing anything fun today. I look like that ape-to-human evolutionary chart but where the human is hunched over at a computer (refreshing TLS and LSAC).

I'm pretty sure I look exactly the same. I'm at work and every time my boss walks by, he says "checking for your score?"

Haha, yeah. I'm still in undergrad and I have a desk job where I can study or whatever I want at work. All of May I was studying for the LSAT at work, so they both definitely know. One of my bosses took the LSAT "back in the day." Thanks to one of my professors that I asked for a rec letter posting on my Facebook wall the night before the LSAT wishing me good luck, EVERYBODY knows that I took the LSAT.

My tea's gone cold I'm wondering why I got out of bed at all,
The morning rain clouds up my window, and I can't see at all,
And even if I could it would all be.....

My boss knows. My coworkers know. Half the office building and a bunch of clients know. The folks where I volunteer know.
My parents and siblings do not know.

I have very mixed feelings regarding when I tell my mom that I am accepted and going to law school out of state. All the "You're taking my grandchild from me!" freak out. (My parents lived overseas for 8 years of my life and out of state away from my grandparents until I hit adulthood. So it's not really as big a deal as she will surely make it.)

Am back from the weekend at the beach. Now time for a long 2.5 hours to grey...

In other news my nephew is getting sliced out of my sister in law as we speak, but can't visit until the evening. I may be going really happy or really bummed if scores come out before we get there.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
