So I took the Dec LSAT and felt somewhat underprepared. I had been working on the PTs 40-70s and got complacent as the early ones were somewhat easier than the more recent ones. By the time I got to PT 70+, it was already like 2 weeks before the exam and my score dropped a few points and that was a bit discouraging to say the least.
So I've registered for the Feb LSAT and this time, I think I should focus MORE on the more recent PTs exclusively. (PT 65-79) As I felt like the questions have become somewhat more difficult, and that threw me off track initially. So I have about a month and half to drill the more recent PTs, but the problem is, I've done the PTs all the way up to PT 75. So my question is, are there any benefits to redoing a PT that I have done under timed conditions a month ago? OR should I focus on the mistakes that I made and do the earlier ones PT 20s instead for timed simulation?
Thanks so much!!!

I think recent is 55-79. But more importantly, I think you should try to figure out for yourself what makes the newer tests, esp LR and RC, harder than the earlier ones. People have described LSAT's evolution in different ways but unless you see it yourself, test day would remain daunting. One of the things I felt the newer tests were asking for was answering through elimination of wrong answers than selection. This has to do with answer choices becoming less direct in giving us what we want. This is true for both LR and RC.Economyclass wrote:So I took the Dec LSAT and felt somewhat underprepared. A month's distance may be a little less. I would give myself at least 2 months before redo-ing a PT. But Feb wouldn't allow you that much time. Is June an option?
Reviewing mistakes is the best you can do. And while doing this, you could also compare the directness of answer choices in old tests with the recent ones. That would help you discern the test's evolution. HTH.
