Which of the following is an assumption on which the argument depends. Don't read the prompts, go back to the stim. Restate it to Legislatures don't enact laws benefiting constituents. Instead of considering the consequences, they frame it in polemic repugnance/enthusiasm terms.

Go to questions. D restates it.

Glance through the rest. A is irrelevant, not required. B is unsupported. C is massively out of scope. D is required. E has way too many assumptions as that may or may not be able to, and if they can or cannot it could be due to many reasons.
