When can I take the LSAT again?
I took LSAT on June 2015, October 2015, and June 2016.
Will I be able to retake on June 2017 since that's two years since my first take?

If I can ask (as someone who has never taken it before), what has factored into your decision making in taking it for a 4th time?CPAlawHopefu wrote:I took LSAT on June 2015, October 2015, and June 2016.

Were you unhappy with any specific prep program? And advice for us who haven't taken it yet?
I'll be taking it in June 2017 too, so best of luck!

Re: When can I take the LSAT again?
With current stat (164 LSAT, 3.6 GPA), I'm expecting a handful of waitlist letters from t20 schools of my choice. I plan to let these schools know that I'll be retaking LSAT in June. If I manage to increase my score to 166-168 range, I expect to be accepted at these schools off the waitlist.trontastic wrote:If I can ask (as someone who has never taken it before), what has factored into your decision making in taking it for a 4th time?CPAlawHopefu wrote:I took LSAT on June 2015, October 2015, and June 2016.

Not the OP, but I'll chime in. Don't take it until you are consistently scoring in a range you want, and take the preptests as 5 timed sections just as you would on the real thing. Not being prepared enough cost me one take, cheating on how I prepared cost me another (taking 4 sections, giving myself 15-20 seconds extra for my ego's sake, etc...), the flu cost me a third.trontastic wrote:If I can ask (as someone who has never taken it before), what has factored into your decision making in taking it for a 4th time?CPAlawHopefu wrote:I took LSAT on June 2015, October 2015, and June 2016.

Re: When can I take the LSAT again?
You said you scored a 171 in the June thread. Which is it? A 164 or a 171? If a 171, there really isn't any point in retaking. Odd that you would post two different scores.CPAlawHopefu wrote:With current stat (164 LSAT, 3.6 GPA), I'm expecting a handful of waitlist letters from t20 schools of my choice. Also, aren't you the creator of the infamous packing thread? Learned a lot in that thread.

Re: When can I take the LSAT again?
Unsolicited advice: forget this law school gig. It's a crappy experience leading to an even more crappy career.
Pick a different career that pays better, has a better lifestyle and is more interesting. Seeing as how most new attorneys are making only ~$60k or something (assuming they find a job!) you can quite easily find lots of superior career options.
Also- and I mean this in the best way- if you take the thing 3 times and prepped for all 3 attempts, you should rather expect that when you take it in 2 years your score is not going to be any better...
