RC drilling help!
Folks...I am currently working very hard to improve my RC by drilling the ones from the 90s (which I have done like 3 months ago and so I didn't actually remember them when I did it again). Recently I found out that I usually have -2 to -3 per pt, whereas when I had -5 to -7 for the ones after pt 60. I am wondering if this means real improvement or RC from the 90s is just easier. Thanks!

Some people on TLS say the more recent PTs generally have denser passages. Whether thats true or not in your score reflection, I would say the more recent PTs are more accurately reflecting your realistic scoring realm

Recent tests are harder in general because LSAC wants to normalize the emergence of test prep companies that didn't exist 20 years ago. So in essence, you are either paying big bucks to get the same score or you are put at a disadvantaged position in today's competition. It's our analogue of nuclear arm race, a race to the bottom.

^This. From personal experience, Test 1-40 are quite similar and in general are a bit easier than more modern tests. It seems more than ever they alter the nuances and patterns in the test to compensate for the plethora of prep material and companies. IMO The differences in nuances patterns and difficulty are more noticeable, varied, distinct from a test in say 60's versus the 70's as opposed to one of the earliest test versus one late 30's or even 40's.lumberjack23 wrote:Recent tests are harder in general because LSAC wants to normalize the emergence of test prep companies that didn't exist 20 years ago.
