No retake. Your scores merit acceptance and good scholarship money from at least one of those schools bar Chicago. ED to NW would land you a full-tuition scholarship.

Use this time and energy to work on the entirety of the application. Channel your energy to writing an excellent PS and apply as soon as applications open. Good luck.

172 after 10 months of not studying? I'm tempted to say retake, but others will know better.

It's a solid score. With your GPA, I'd just apply...
