Re: How much can I improve?
An untimed test is not a baseline and your first test is a diagnosis, not a prognosis so it's impossible to say how much you can improve.
Unless your untimed sections were like 36 minutes each, you're probably losing more than 5 points.
Take it timed, then come back and ask for study recs.

Never do that again - timed practice exams only.
We have no idea what your true diagnostic is. It could easily be around 150 (and is probably around 150).

OK but regardless of the timing issue, what about the specific areas of improvement? (conditional, and logical reasoning assumptions/parellel). I don't think I spent an hour on each section...

Go read the study tip threads for that.conticuere wrote:OK but regardless of the timing issue, what about the specific areas of improvement? (conditional, and logical reasoning assumptions/parellel). I don't think I spent an hour on each section...
You will not get helpful advice until you have a real diagnostic test.

Ok! Sorry everyone! Didn't mean to annoy you. I had just read somewhere that taking it untimed the first time around just to see what it was like could be useful.

Taking it untimed to see what the questions are like is fine but it's nothing close to taking the test timed. The thing that makes the LSAT a difficult test is the fact that it's timed. If it were a take home test, everyone would get a 180 on it.conticuere wrote:Ok! Sorry everyone! Didn't mean to annoy you. Best of luck to you.
