Anyone has taken LSAT at DePaul?

Post by xxxzzz1 » Fri Jun 03, 2016 11:31 pm

I'm going to take the LSAT in 3 days at DePaul. Do you guys have experience taking the test there? Were it small classrooms/big auditoriums? Which building(s) did you take it at? Were the seats assigned? Were there enough space? I saw one post saying that it was one of the worst test centers in Chicago area, and I'm a bit worried. Thanks a lot.

Same, here. Also interested in OP's question. (Massively under-prepared for it, hopefully it doesn't go too badly)

I'm not too worried, by massively under-prepared I meant that I've only studied an hour or 2 every day for about a month. Still my PT's have gone pretty well, averaging 0-2 wrong in LR/LG, but RC has been all over the place from 3-7 wrong. I do usually do better under pressure, this test is a toss up for me just to get a feel for the atmosphere and getting a handle of how actual pressure/time affect me, if I perform well then it's great, if not I can do the October LSAT. Also even if I do well on the LSAT I'm still not gonna be fully dedicated to law school since I'll be a splitter (3.3X, at least I have a really strong upward trend :C ). As much as I really enjoy learning and applying law, I won't shoot myself in the foot by taking on a lot of pointless debt when I know that there are better ways for me to make $ (not that $ is my goal, but I'm not a public interest guy).

I do what I want. I want to do law, but I want to get a good scholarship to a t14 school if I go to law school. My gpa unfortunately makes that far more difficult (curse you freshman year). I should be able to raise it to a 3.4/5 by the time I graduate, so hopefully that gets me a few dollars with a high LSAT.

0-2 wrong in LR/LG is really great. You will do well. Good luck!
