Like yeah, I'm flattered, but now is neither the time nor the place!
They interviewed me before I even applied just based on my LSAT score which let me get a decision really quickly. They're also super generous with money so if you can, I'd find ways to engage with them early on. I'm happy with my outcome but depending on what you want to do and where you want to practice going to WashU with a full ride (which tons of people get because WashU is loaded.) is also a great option.
But still, can't y'all wait like, a week?

I used to not be big on cake as a kid (hated pie) so ALWAYS had ice cream cake for my bday, mom always bought vanilla(my fav... yes boring but f off) but would make the cake herself and put all sorts of gr8 stuff in it and was always fantastic... have had v few store bought that come close to my childhood homemade ice cream cakesthelostweasley wrote:Eh, ice-cream cake is okay and I feel like the flavors are limited. Howdy y'all!
I have made a spreadsheet estimating probabilities of certain scores and estimating my emotional reactions to such scores.
I also determined the minimum score I would accept and the maximum I would retake.
I'm waiting.

Look I don't want to talk about AA, but I applied to UT the same year as her, from a much more academically rigorous high school with better numbers and extracurriculars, and I wasn't accepted. Doesn't mean you sue the damn school. If UT really was her dream school, she should have tried harder to be in the top 10% like, oh I don't know, everyone else at UT.patttt wrote:And were not gonna hit 180 before gray unless we turn this thread into a shit show. So where were we with the abigail fisher case?forum_user wrote:Guys we're almost at a median score!!!
Not to mention her SAT was well below median for UT that year if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info!!!! Just curious, why was the PS blog post edited? --> http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/when-wi ... predictionDKilloranPowerScore wrote:Hey Guys,
I saw some comments about gray day and various predictions being made, and I thought it might help if I gave you some background on how the score release process has changed over the last few years.
It used to be that for the June and Sept/October LSATs, LSAT licensees (people/companies with the right to reprint LSAT questions for a fee) received notice early in the day that scores would be released. It came as an email from LSAC, and it included a copy of the test, along with a note that scores would be released later that day and not to share the test until after. There was kind of an unwritten rule at that time that you shouldn’t disclose that you knew this information. IIRC, for one test, Kaplan made an earlier-than-normal announcement, but nothing happened. And I think it was a later test where LSATMax announced it more or less a few minutes after they received the email (as we all did). After that, whenever the test arrives and it’s before the actual release, everyone announces it asap. Side note, February is non-disclosed and since no test is released, licensees receive no advance notice. For December, it’s been a mixed bag, because on a number of occasions the test has been released while LSAC was on break/holiday, and again we had no notice. TL;DR: June and Sept we had advance notice and told everyone, Feb/Dec we often didn’t get advance notice.
Over the last 6-8 months, I think the free-for-all that was score release day was noticed by LSAC. For example, when the December LSAT was released, it was a Monday, and yet licensees were not given advance notice that scores were coming. This may be a permanent thing, it may not. If the June LSAT is released on a normal business day and no advance notice is given, then no advance notice is probably LSAC’s new policy. Which is fine—it’s their test, and they can do what they want.
However, the email from LSAC was the only advance notice that anyone received of score release, and if they take that away, no one knows for sure which day it will be. So, how are people able to make predictions? Well, I can’t speak for others, but we make an analysis of past release dates, both recently and for that specific test administration (all June release dates, for example). We also examine LSAC calendars for holidays, registration dates, and any other intel that we pick up (which is sometimes very little, sometimes a lot) and mix all that together to project what we think is the highest chance target date. Is it exact? No. We’re pretty good, but we have missed dates. No one out there has a better prediction record that I’m aware of, but the fact that there’s a lack of certainty is also why you don’t see me knocking down other people's predictions. I may think their prediction has a smaller chance of being correct than our prediction, but they still could be right. Spivey and I talked about release dates this past weekend, and he mentioned some theories on Saturday. I told him it was possible, especially if LSAC doesn’t want to give licensees a heads-up anymore. I still think Monday is more likely but I’m aware how uncertain things can be at LSAC (and in the past, rare events such as lost tests have affected the release date, so you never know for sure).
LSAC moves in mysterious ways, and maybe this will help shed some light on their process. At this point, no one can be absolutely certain of the score release date unless they work for LSAC. If we hear anything at all, though, we will immediately release that info (on my Twitter and the PowerScore twitter, and then I'll come over here and post it too).
Thanks!
