Pizza is real life
yeah my pretzel handle is just a red herring, a distraction from the carb that I love the most
If it's a not a real tattoo, this will be a bigger let down than the Warriors finals performance

Re: June 2016 - Waiter's Thread (+170 or bust)
Knew a lot people growing up in my large majority-Black mid-Atlantic city who lost their homes to the market collapse - parents were foreclosed on, apartments buildings were sold, etc. Predatory lending was pretty rampant in my state. Also plenty of peers who were (and still are) facing pretty big drug charges. Before college I wanted to be a lawyer to help all my friends get out of jail, get out of debt, etc.carasrook wrote:fun activity time re: relevant topics!!!
how did you guys come upon law school, and why do you want to go?
like what other careers did you consider...what influenced you... etc etc
just curious
Went to college and realized that wasn't exactly how it worked. Never really stopped wanting to help people or wanting to become a lawyer tho.
Now I have my sights set on PD, but would also be interested in immigration, PI, property, etc.
Briefly considered becoming a career waiter in college because I was really good at it.

I've met someone with a similar pizza tat before. I feel like it is the one food I could see people tattooing on themselves, except for maybe tacos.R. lol this was an underappreciated post.UltimateSplitter wrote:I'll talk about my wine experience tonight to take up space.
I've never been much of a wine guy, so I thought, "hey, it's fathers' day. I should get a shit load of wine!" By the way my dad and I had gotten some tall boys before this during a 50 mile bike ride. We went to a French place, and I first got a red. It wasn't bad, but red wine always seems like it has some chalky texture or something to it. Then I tried a chardonnay. Holy shit. This grape juice is amazing for whiskey people. So after several glasses following a 4 hour bike ride, I was a little drunky. If you're ever dehydrated and feel crazy, skip the water and head to the wine first.
That's my filibuster for the page 180 cause.
Happy fathers' day to any fathers on here!
now i kinda want to go for a run and then drink some wine.

This was indeed an underappreciated post. Sounds like a POPPIN father's day.
I am a fucking massive wine advocate. Just got into Vinho Verde style white wine (Portuguese). Getting very hip right now, just copped some on sale at Whole Paycheck. Cheap, has a few bubbles, but not full on champagne. A little bit sweet but not overwhelming.
Also, sauv blanc of course. Dry and crisp, not sweet. Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect mainstay.
For red, you need to splurge a bit more than on white if you want a delightful experience. IMO, of course. If you feel like treating yourself go to your local wine store and ask them to pick out a nice Cabernet Sauvignon for you. Pair with a RIB EYE or some dark chocolate and berries.

Ty for this. I wanna step up my wine game bc I know fuck all. My auntie and uncle took me to Napa a couple months ago and it was heaven. But I haven't had a whole bunch of wine since then. Maybe cuz it seems like quality wining on the reg costs some considerable dinero idkpretzeltime wrote: Me too! Minus the run.

Team Zinfandel. Can't do white wine or champagne.
This is reminding me how spoiled I am in California for good, cheap wine selections. Definitely gunna miss that
