Thank you so much, this was very helpful! Good luck to everyone.TheMikey wrote:Yeah, I hope it all works out for you (and everyone else as well). I've heard different things about proctors, some say that there's proctors who don't care about rules, while there are others that are extremely strict with it. Like, I read in a different thread that this one guy's proctor asked people to come to the front who had phones and he kicked them all out. On the other hand, someone said that their proctor allowed people to leave their phones at the front desk. It's a hit or miss I guess.ssk1991 wrote:TheMikey wrote:Damn I'm sorry to hear that. Well, I'm not in any position to give advice on whether you should show up or not, because you risk not being allowed in. All LSAC said to you was that it is up to the proctor?ssk1991 wrote:I did not get a notification that it needed to be bigger so I figured that the upload was OK. I have a similar issue as well. I had gotten my professional photo's taken at Walgreen's and the photo meets all of the requirements. I went and uploaded the photo on LSAC but my photo that was uploaded is really small. I am scared that I will be turned away on test day because even though my photo (which is a 2x2 passport photo) meets all the requirements, the upload is too small and it is too small on my admissions ticket.
Thoughts? Anything is much appreciated. Thank you.
Do you think I should still show up on test day since it is ultimately up to the proctor?
I think I am going to show up because LSAC advised that the proctor's are not employed by LSAC so I don't know how closely they follow the rules given by LSAC. I am going to bring my passport photo's, driver's license and passport. I spoke with three different representatives and they all advised that it is ultimately up to whoever is there on test day. I am praying to the gods that they let me in. I spent so much money and time with this =/

Re: PLEASE HELP -- Potential June 2016 LSAT Issue
You should absolutely show up for test day. You can't get the $170 test fee back now, and there's a chance you can still take it. If you do get turned away, the only penalty against you will be an "Absence" on your LSAT record, which is easily explainable in an addendum given your situation. An LSAC lady told me schools really don't care about absences. Worse comes to worse, you get turned away, retake in September and explain the absence. May as well try to save the extra money given there are little repercussions.ssk1991 wrote:I did not get a notification that it needed to be bigger so I figured that the upload was OK. Edit: The LSAC lady also told me an absence doesn't count as one of your three takes. You need to be assigned a seat and be given a test book in order for it to count.

I am interested in this as well. I printed my ticket and the photo does not fill the box completely. When I uploaded it I got no error messages and it would not let me resize the photo. I will give it a try since it is too late for a refund but was curious if others made it in with photos that did not completely fill the 2x2 box.th25 wrote:We're you able to get in with the smaller photo? Re: PLEASE HELP -- Potential June 2016 LSAT Issue
Messed up photo. Only fills up 3/4s of the box. Did anyone get turned away during the June admin because of this? I'm taking the September one tomorrow and am so pissed off. Frankly, they shouldn't have let me upload the pic if it didn't fill the box completely. I have taken the exam before too, idk if that makes a difference.
EDIT: do you think I could just blow up the picture and add it in via photoshop, or would they think that there was some sort of foul play goin' on. Fuck this shit I'm so prepared for this exam.

EXACTLY my problem!! I'm so mad that they let it upload if it wasn't correct size! I think their new photo program is screwy!!

Unfortunately the process changed in June 2016 and you now have to upload a jpg photo to the LSAC site and submit it and then it is available to print before your exam but after the deadline to submit a new photo has passed. No error notices or warnings if your photo is not an acceptable shot. You then print the ticket with the photo on it and take it to the exam.yyyuppp wrote:firegal360 wrote:I am interested in this as well. Feels good someone else is in my shoes (but sorry also). I found a thread on TLS saying that someone had their pic sideways and got in. Apparently it all depends on your proctor so...good luck I guess.firegal360 wrote:messedupphoto wrote:Messed up photo. Only fills up 3/4s of the box.
