Focus tips for taking practice exams

I'm taking my lSAT June 6th so I'm not really looking to take any form of concentration enhancing drug (ex. adderall) since I haven't before and don't want to start now. That being said I'm still prone to somewhat losing focus somewhere around halfway the third section regardless of the section type. When I'm focused and locked in I'm able to go question to question and not waste time. However after a while I get a little overwhelmed and start focusing on things like time and how many questions I have left, which correlates to not focusing on the stimulus, missing questions and so on. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? I've tried hard to build a routine where I wake up and take an exam every morning at the same time but it's been such a struggle. I've talked to a few people who have taken it and they never took full exams in a sitting but when the exam came they just said the adrenaline kept them focused throughout (they scored between 165-170). However I have a tutor (scored 178) who is conditioning me to take 6 section exams in order to build my endurance, and I see how that would help very well but I can't help but feel burned out somedays which contributes to my lack of focus. At this stage in the game I'm not taking days off but some days I go in and simply can't finish an exam because my brain is so fried. Any suggestions would really be appreciated thanks.

Oleg, sounds like you're burnt out. Take a day or two off and go relax.

I agree with the poster above, take a few days off. Also, during the test if you start feeling anxious or off track then just finish up the question you're doing and take 10-15 seconds to clear your mind. It may seem like you don't have the time to do this but it will do you more good than bad.
