Post by gtg » Sun Apr 24, 2016 4:25 pm

Hello, a friend of mine is starting LSAT prep, I have the 2013 Powerscore Bibles, should she go ahead and use them or buy the 2016 editions? Thanks :)

I believe I've seen a topic about this before, and I'd like to say that if you're using a version from the early 2000's (2001-2009) definitely upgrade, but from 2013-2016, the differences are negligible at best. It also depends on what you're using to compliment that. I've found that the LR bible is great, however it lacks appropriate explanation of how best to attack assumption question types, which give students the most trouble. Additionally, the LG bible is great as a foundation, but the LG setups are woefully unnecessary and time consuming, which forced me to quickly change my setups to something similar to that of 7sage.

In short, I'd advise to not base all your strategies off one text. Going through all of them and finding strategies that work for you is the best approach!

I hope I've answered your question, and then some...
