Pretty unforgiving curve on this one. Going to revisit some fundamentals this week to cut down on these sloppy errors and drill RC. Those -3s are killing me. Plus side, though, score's up from last week. Slow and steady, y'all. We'll get there.
Nice!!
Sloppy errors are killing my scores rn too. Right attitude - We'll get there!

Welp, PT 75:
LR1: -2
RC: -5 HAHAHA
LR2: -1
RC exp: -1
LG: 0
Raw: 92
Scaled: 172
BR = 97/100
-1 RC, -2 LR2. Same one wrong and another one wrong. Gonna have to look these up. (13 and 17, if anyone has any insight?)
LR1 and RC were both a bunch of dumb mistakes - misreading and stuff. Oh boy...
SOOO the plan moving forward: - Work on LR!! Cut down on the dumb mistakes. Work on speed on all sections. Think I might start doing drills of new sets with 30 min time limits.

Hey guys, a professor is going out of her way to meet me to discuss LOR. I wanna make the process as easy as possible for her. do you guys think it's easier to prepare a pre-stamped envelope and have her mail it out or do it online? I'd prefer online, but if it's a pain I'll just have her send it out in the mail.

online should be very simple and less physically straining

Yep, online seems a lot more simple. I'm sure the email that LSAC sends to them has clear and simple instructions on how to submit a LOR.

welp, was going to do at the very least PT 54 (the RC section I half-assed on friday), but today I was probably going to do LG and an LR from it. Not really up to it though honestly. Although i feel like I could do well on the sections after this short break, ehh... do i really want to do that right now.. lol maybe later or tomorrow..

That's good news! I think it will probably be one that continues, TBH. I think you're going to see more and more top candidates electing to ship off to SV rather than HYPCCNETC. Granted, there are only so many slots, so these schools can still [and will continue to be able to] be selective.
Anyone have recommendations for improving endurance? I feel like my endurance alone is holding me back from a like 5 point increase based on my distribution of scores in individual sections. Should I start adding a sixth section just to force myself to have it a bit harder?

So apparently I have a ~Thing!~ this weekend, 9-4 both days. (apparently me c. March wasn't sure the LSAT and a full-time job would be enough to keep me occupied.) Going to have to try to squeeze in two PTs before Saturday.

Yesssss! Great to hear! I heard that taking the fall Sept exam you have a better shot at a higher curve because less people are taking it compared to the later dates and thus may score a bit higher? Is that true?

I'm remembering back in HS it seemed like the better UG institutions' acceptance rates were lowering by like 5% each year. Glad that doesn't seem to be the case for law schools.
Let us know if you find something that works for endurance. I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to do more timed sections back to back for drilling. We'll see if that helps at all.

Curve probably depends most just on the difficulty of the test...particularly LG... if LG is easy, you're going to have a fairly unforgiving curve.

Anyone here take a piecemeal approach to The LSAT Trainer? I'm trying to shore up a few weak areas and was considering using it (My mistake for not using it from the start...). Does it work if you isolate individual sections, or do you really need to take it as a whole?

I keep missing the same questions when reviewing. I'm down to -1 per section basically, but it's always the one I circle, and I am never able to choose the correct answer no matter how much time I have.

Can someone explain PT 72, Section 4, Question 23 to me? I really don't understand why the correct answer is better than one of the other options.

I think the correct answer for this one was correct because it's the only one that wouldn't result in an employee being unable to transfer their item to another employee without breaking any of the conditions.
- [+] Spoiler
- Cause if i'm remembering right they can only be transferred
M->J
J -> K/L
K -> L/M
L -> K/M
and you have to account for all of the employees working on an item.

Mainly LR. I keep overthinking one question and putting the incorrect answer.

Wow, just got slammed by an RC passage: -4. I guess that's what happens when you take 2 weeks off for work. Gonna be 5 weeks of intense drilling, I guess.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
