Going to warm up with a game or two... do some LR (30 so I have some left for tomorrow)... back to RC and probably finish out the games.

Oh dayumnn. I have a venti skinny iced caramel macchiato en route.

I am a little jealous. I need to stop spending so much at Starbucks. I am learning more about their snacks though.

The chickpea crisp things (Hippeas) are *delicious* but an absolute scam. I think they charge like $3-$4, and it's legitimately between eight and ten crisps. We all know how disappointing all bags of chips are, but this brought it to a whole new level.

The granola mix is actually pretty awesome though.

Chorizo egg sandwich - pretty good.

Chicken and BLT / Havarti sandwiches - OK in a pinch but pretty bad for a sandwich.

I need to stop spending so much at starbucks as well! It's sad that I add $100 to my sbux account like it's nothing. You're at sbux right now?? The only thing I've had to eat from sbux was a plain bagel and the double smoked bacon, egg and cheddar sandwich which I think is SOOO good

When you say LSAT style notation for RC, what exactly does that imply. Main point/Conclusion, Distinction, Structure, etc.??? I seem to be having trouble making uniform notations from passage to passage
Honestly just underlining and circling random things that feel relevant, as I do on RC passages. I have the same problem, almost given up trying to worry about having some kind perfect, systematic form of notation. When I do them memory method style I'll follow that system though.

YEEEEE BOI. Shout out to my mom for showing me how to properly make it 8)
It's pretty simple actually.
1. make the coffee as if you're going to drink it hot
2. once it's done, put it in a plastic container and add your sugar/creamer/whatever you want to it while it's hot. I add dunkin donuts vanilla creamer to it.
3. stir, and taste it to make sure it's stronger than you would drink it when it's hot but still having a good taste.
4. put in the freezer (takes AT LEAST 2 hours to get pretty cold, but I usually leave it for 2 1/2 - 3 hrs)
5. pour in cup
6. enjoy the dank drink

Anyone have any good book recommendations? Aiming for the 'thriller' or 'mystery' type of genre.

have you read the Count of Monte Cristo? I don't read much fiction, but that's my favorite one by far. it's long, but man is that one memorable book.

Hey guys, hope everyone is making progress!

For retakers, how much should we look into a PT score we've already taken as a sign of progress? For those out of fresh material, any tips on how to maximize those PT retakes?

Retaker here, although I didn't max out on materials for my first take, I still think stuff that I've done before is useful. I would say that you can still see it as progress if you do well on something you've done before, because you'll be recognizing patterns.

Also, if you want to make things a bit more "extreme" when doing something you've done before, give yourself less time to do it. So if you're going to do an LG section you've done before, do it in 20-25 mins, especially if you remember the patterns/setup of each game. But then again, doing games over and over isn't ever a bad thing, so.

The less time on sections sounds interesting, I will def give it a try. Thanks!

Np! I've only done this with LG sections and it seems to force me into diagramming and making inference a lot faster

This has probably been answered a million times, but I have to get my score up! I need to go up at least 20-30 points. I work 40 hours a week, and I'm in an LSAT class that is four hours twice a week.

Im willing to do whatever it takes! How long minimum should I be studying a day?

I imagine that cutting LR shorter might force you to recognize the flaw/assumption/etc. faster as well. I will try it out and see how it goes.

How many points are trying to increase Mikey in Sept.?

20-30 points up by September?
I'd say 3 hours a day min as an average, but considering how close we are, more than that would probably be necessary, if you haven't really started studying yet. (if you can manage it)

What test are you taking? What score are you comfortable with? How do you learn best? Nobody's going to be able to give you a *minimum* number of hours you should be studying. This depends entirely on your personal situation.

Probably will force you to recognize everything a lot faster, and to even do the easier questions faster than you normally would.

As for how many points, lol lets just leave it at 'a lot'. Test anxiety can really get to you, bro. That's all I will say :\

I'm just aiming for as high as I can and hoping to break that 170 like ya'll!
