Radical PT score change
I have been studying since last September, with my PT scores ranging from 159-164. I took the December LSAT while I was sick and got a 155. I had never scored that low before on a practice exam. Now, I have started taking practice exams for the February LSAT and I have gotten a 152 and 156. Am I doing something wrong? Should I go back through the powerscore bibles? I have no change in my logic games scores (2-4 wrong), its completely my logical reasoning and reading comprehension that has changed. Any words of wisdom? I would really like a 162 or better on the LSAT in February. Thanks!

Are you overstudying?
I studied for the LSAT for months. I was averaging around a 168. A few weeks before the test my scores went way down, was scoring in 162-164 range. Took a break from studying, didn't look at anything LSAT related for a week or two. Then I took a couple more PTs and was back in my normal 168 range. Pulled 170+ on test day.
If I didn't take the break, I would have never done that well. I was just getting burnt out. Taking a break from it and coming back helped my confidence a lot.

Re: Radical PT score change
That's what I think. I was similar right around 160-162 and scored a 155 on test day in December. Pretty much after the 3 logic game which was my fourth section, I crashed. I bombed there rest of games and the fifth section. As test day approached I notice my score dipped. I took a few days off and my score rebounded a little. I was really OCD with studying for December. I've been studying for February and I noticed being really slow doing a section yesterday. Taking a few days off and doing a real test on Saturday. I think I might do what you did and not do anything the two weeks up to the test. If I haven't learned it by now, I''m not leaning it ad a week or two off isn't making me forget anything.pterodactyls wrote:Are you overstudying?
