Mother Nature decided to show me how much it hates me and also to let me know I am not pregnant, the week of the LSAT. I have absurd cramps during the first few days and has have it for a couple days, but I'm scared it'll linger until test day (which is in two days lol).
Has anyone taken the test with cramps?! How'd you manage or what advice would you have, besides taking lots of medicine and the usual drill?
Noooo, I'm so sorry, this was my worst nightmare. Hopefully the cramps will have died down significantly by the time of the test. Do you normally take meds? Does that help you? I don't think it could hurt to take a couple of Advil or something. Other than that, I don't know what you could really do besides trying to put all your focus and energy into the test
Hopefully once you get started, you'll be too busy to notice anything else (and your body will realize you're on the same side here!!)
Girl I'm in the same situation as you. Just going to take some Motrin and hope for the best. You could always use one of these if they're really bad. They work like a charm.

Ugh TOTALLY feel you here. Would recommend one of those sticky heating pads and a medicine that quells cramps and any other side effects but doesn't make you feel drowsy/out of it (Motrin is good for that personally). Also, stay very hydrated! Water really does help with all of that. I took the Sept test bout a week after a medical procedure and I was worried about all of this too. Nothing sucks more than a strong cramp in the middle of a section but seriously, try to put it out of your mind as much as you can!

When I took the SAT in high school, one of the invigilators made fun of me for not eating breakfast. :'( I'm still not gonna eat breakfast, but I'm planning on a Clif bar and a curate bar for break.

Checking out a night early to decompress tomorrow. Remember these three things:
1. You've come so far
2. Saturday is just an advance copy of PT 80
3. Trust the process
Good night and good luck, you beautiful boys and girls.
Catch you in the waiters thread.

Good night folks, and please, for the love of the LSAC god, just chill tomorrow.
Yes you will want to keep studying, yes you will still worry about bits of the test, but chances of you having a sudden epiphany tomorrow are low, and chances of burning yourself out the day before the test is fairly high.
Plus with all the work that you've put in already, what more is there to worry about? Believe in yourselves!

Yeah I did some light review today just to keep the "muscles" warm so to speak...as for sleep, based on my experiences last time I won't get much without help, so I'm taking some melatonin nice and early so I have time to sleep/get it out of my system.

Not TOO hydrated though. I find that cramps are a lot easier to ignore when I'm focused than needing to pee really badly

I'm doing 1 RC section and a couple of the LGs from the 70s. I figure that'll be light enough.

I slept pretty well last night.
I'll be doing 2 LR, 1 RC and maybe some LG, not sure.
I just figure I've pretty much always drilled sections before taking a PT. I don't want to change that now.

Yeah - I thought I would try to get up early today again to reinforce the time, but I decided to sleep in until like 8:00. I didn't want to be lowish on sleep two nights in a row.

I am a night owl, always have been. Although, I have been trying to get into the habit of waking up earlier. I am going to take a sleep aid and pass out early.

I was restless, earlier this week. I'd suggest just getting away from the material and think/do other things that consume your energy. If you are compelled to study/review the day before, then I'd just keep it pretty light.

Memo to self: It would be wrong to be asking people on the way in: "So, you done this before? There's like three things to it, right? They said you couldn't prepare, so I just looked up, it's all reading and math, and long essays, isn't it? Should be a breeze"
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
