Have you tried going over the 7Sage curriculum a second time and taking notes? It helped solidify my logic and made every QT easy as pie.Mikey wrote: Howwwwww

You can thank me l8r.Mikey wrote: I haven't but i probs should!

Nah, but I think I legit rushed it the first time, wanting to just get it over with.
The second time through, I felt like I missed some important details, like the confusion with "or,"
and taking notes on everything that feels alien (should've done that the first time, too) can be a huuuuge boost.

My LR looks to finally be coming along! I think I'm going to spend some time drilling RC speed next. I had to guess on a big portion of the last RC passage =(.

Timing used to cause me troubles (in logical reasoning, even).dj9i27 wrote: imo the best way to do reading comp is to do untimed drilling and search for the argument, even read the passage 3 or 4 times until you're 100% sure you know it; that is if timing isnt an issue for you.
but srs give me ur Lr timing
After reading "slower," I can finish on time with a few minutes to spare.
I've grown accustomed to getting a passage and its associating Qs done in less than 10 minutes unless it's difficult.
Even though doing it untimed sounds like the memory method in which I'm not sure how it applies to timed sections, I'll try it out.
I'm assuming the accuracy that I can potentially gain from untimed sections may translate nicely over to timed sections? One can only hope.

Not to panic anyone.. but I think the 70s are at least a little bit harder than the 50s/60s.
From my point of view, from 30 to 70 the RC topics got a little more convoluted, or the writing.
Also I heard that the LR prompts are slightly lengthier, by word court average. Most of the question types remain very similar, but I feel a slightly different flavor in the 70s on LR questions. Some question types disappeared maybe.
Recommendation: Try your hand at least one or two 70's Preptests now.. if you are for sure taking December and trying to optimize your test day score.

i've been hesitant to withdraw from December for a while now even though I'm like 90% sure i will, but i'm afraid that i'll withdraw then start getting 175's on PTs out of no where consistently lmao.

I'm doing this now and the improvements are incredible. I realized that I've always done so well in school/tests, so I should treat the LSAT just how I would a college course and that includes taking really good notes.

bruh, i got one as well.. went through a bunch of shit to get one but i did. i seriously regret wasting a take in June. but i paid for the Dec. registration myself, and the 200 bucks spent isn't really a big deal to me tbh.. i just don't know when i should withdraw, if i even end up withdrawing..Barack O'Drama wrote:Mikey wrote:oh, i thought it was half.. lol what a rip off.Deardevil wrote:I only got $50 back...Mikey wrote:when is the deadline to get half refund?

IME that's the best way to approach all things LSAT. Initially work on the process. Only introduce the element of time when you're comfortable with what you're doing, and reliably going -veryfew.dj9i27 wrote: imo the best way to do reading comp is to do untimed drilling and search for the argument, even read the passage 3 or 4 times until you're 100% sure you know it; that is if timing isnt an issue for you.

I'm tempted to make this my philosophy for the next 3 weeks for days between PTs, like I always finish with at least 5 minutes to spare and just need to solidify my accuracy/confidence.kindofcanuck wrote:IME that's the best way to approach all things LSAT. Took PT 44 this morning with PT28's LG as a 5th section. Aced the extra section which was nice even though I did it back in August. Then went -6 on the actual LG because I was way too slow and didn't have time for the last section. fml. The inferences just weren't coming to me. Gonna have to do a 7sage review to hopefully glean some insight. Happy about the RC tho.
RC: -3
LR1: -2
LG: -6
LR2: -2
Total 87/167
That's my 3rd 167 in a row o_o

even though this is only my second rodeo, I'd be lying if I said dropping hasn't crossed my mind. I know all the skills are there and whatnot but, confidence is a major issue here somedays I feel like I'll destroy this test and others I keep asking for a little more time. hell the past 2 days I've only missed maybe 8 out of 150 questions and thought about dropping again last night.
