Stats: 169, second take score. 3.75. Average softs. Non-URM.
Applying for the c/o 2019. Already admitted to some lower T-14, with a scholarship offer from one. The offer is generous considering my stats, but not what I need to be able to attend (I'm debt averse, already in debt, no fam assistance). Goals are biglaw.
I am currently in a position with a lot of time on my hands and am willing to put in the effort for a higher score in June. I scored below my PT avg on my second take. My question is, how does one use the june retake score for money if you've already deposited for a seat at a certain school?
Is it better to just wait another year to apply if I score higher? Will schools that have already made generous offers hold it against me if I wait another year?

Better? depends. You'll likely get a better first offer.
They won't hold it against you.

Re: June retake for $$$?
Using a june score to get more $ is doable but there a few things:
1. Your negotiations will probably be limited to one school, unless you double deposit or get pulled off a waitlist.
2. Assuming you don't double deposit, you have to be willing to walk away from the table and reapply next year. It's your only leverage.
Doing things from the top next cycle with a 170s score would certainly be the more advantageous position.
