How to balance prep tests and drilling?

Post by Johndieck » Sun Dec 27, 2015 9:26 pm

I'm planning on taking the June LSAT and I have gone through my books (PS LG+LR, MP RC+LR, and the LSAT Trainer). I was wondering what is the best way to prep here on out. I have the Cambridge Packets and every test from 1-76. I have all the materials, just need some type of schedule template. If it helps anyone, I've taken one PT timed (37) and scored a 152 without the LG section (I didn't feel confident enough with the games to attempt them). I've also taken PT 1 and 2 untimed and score in the low-mid160s. My data tracker says I need to work on Flaw and Assumption questions the most.

So what's a good number of PTs to take a week? The biggest source of confusion for me is that I'm scared of using the Cambridge packets because then I essentially can't take PTs 1-38. Should I drill the packets and take a PT from tests 39-76 once a week until June? Or should I go through all the packets in the next two months and then commence PTing with tests 39-76, say, within 3 months instead of 5 months of once a week?

Thank you.
