First off, wait until you get a 173 to speculate about the use of a 173 beside cancels/retakes, unless I misunderstood your goal score.
Second, on what are you basing your assumption that you messed up a game/passage? I'd guess it's the waiter's thread or some rule-breaking activity discussing the methods/answers. LEAVE THE WAITER'S THREAD. It brings nothing but negativity based off of speculation. I thought I messed up a game and RC passage on the June test (thanks in part to the Waiter's pessimism). Ended up going -0 and -2 respectively...there is no point in canceling because you likely did better than you expected. If not, then you can retake and likely not be affected, regardless of your number of takes (until you get to like 8+, then you might seem like a lost cause).

i totally froze in 1 passage and guessed on all its questions, and guessed on a few questions of a game. i expect a mid 160s score at best and i have already have two such scores from past takes.
