Hi guys,
so i took the test yesterday, and i was in a great mindset (surprisingly because i have bad anxiety) but i was fine up until he said "Begin" and i froze. My mind went blank and i started moving so slow that i ended up having to randomly bubble in about 40 questions (i know wtf). Straight up i choked i know it. Now the thing is i already know im cancelling my score. But I know absolutely nothing about taking february and applying for this cycle other than that it's more competitive waiting til the last minute. If theres anyone that could weigh in on any issues that i should be aware of, like schools that won't take february scores, or when i should get my application in, or just about anything that could put my mind at ease right now that would be greatly appreciated because I really really need it.
Thanks everyone.

What are your school goals? Are you looking at T14 or a regional? Also what have you been getting on your PTs? Is this your first time taking the test?

The only way id shoot for t14 is if i score over 170....i love georgetown and penn but my more realistic schools are wash u in st louism, indiana bloomington, basically i know i have a good shot at the 20's and 30's. i have been getting mid 160's and this was my first time ever actually taking the test, that definitely played a roll, the environment being new to me. but im planning to take it again at the same place because it was the ideal kind of testing place big desks etc.

I used to suffer from test day anxiety, and I still feared so before taking it yesterday. But I've done every PT, I've done it in a cafe, in a library, in my bedroom, in front of a kissing couple and a hiccuping guy etc. I wouldn't say I did well, but yesterday I didn't feel any different. I just felt I was doing another PT.
If your issues are serious, consult a therapist, otherwise just do as many PTs as you can find. And it doesn't matter which cycle to apply. Apply with the highest LSAT score you can get.

If you're not trying to apply to a school like Yale, I wouldn't cancel. Same thing happened to me in October, did better than expected. You'll at least get the test back and be able to add it to your prep for the next take.
