Q & A - Test Day Logistics
A couple of questions, jogged by taking a very serious practice test ...
1. Are you allowed to take your coat into the testing room? Since it's getting cold, I was wondering if lockers are supplied at the testing location.
2. What's the maximum number of pencils you can bring?
3. Is it okay to reach under the seat for the 1 gallon plastic bag and take headache medication ?
4. On one of my practice tests, I made an error and transferred two answers to spots 26 and 27 of an already completed section of 25 questions. It was an honest mistake. I decided to just leave it since the scantron won't count it for anything. But if I got caught erasing those bubbled in answers (mistakenly bubbled in a different section), I would get in trouble right?
5. Is it okay to bring a pencil sharpener that has a built in clear plastic cover (to catch the wood shavings) ?
6. Wallet is allowed in the plastic bag ? Are there any guidelines for what can actually be inside the wallet ?
7. Is it okay to bring pencils that have slogans written on them ?
8. About the analog watch, does everyone seem to have enough time to reset the watch to noon/midnight before the next section begins? Do you usually do this while the proctor is talking? Does the proctor talk much at all (or give much time) in between two sections?
Thanks in advance for your help. This board is awesome

Thanks, WMcGregs.
For the first question, I mean... if I go into the testing center wearing a winter jacket, where do I put it? I am assuming I can't take a jacket into the testing room with me for security reasons.

Re: Q & A - Test Day Logistics
I'd practice winding the watch between sections. Sometimes in the beginning I'd forget to start it after winding. Also, the hour doesn't matter, all about that minute hand. The only downside, which is completely irrelevant, is after the test I genuinely thought it was four pm because I'd wind from 35 minutes up to the next hour after each section and didn't fix it until after lunch. I had a proctor who have adequate times between to wind while speaking the directions, and one who basically said "pencils down, start" and forgot to read the LSAC instructions. Soon as time is called, wind that bad boy cause who knows . If you finish more than seconds early, put your pencil in the first page of the next section and use that to page forward ASAP too.
