HELP ME WITH TIMING!!
Only if the time element could be removed from the LSAT in its entirety, I would score perfectly!
My problem was once Logic Reasoning-- I waited a year prior to testing, so that I could improve greatly on LR. And to my surprise, its an area I am strong in, however-- Over the course of the year, I felt confident in RC & Logic Games (I mean, I do logic games for fun), NOW--- I am unable to make it to the third or fourth game and passage.
I know its a pure error in over-processing thing, and wasting time on unnecessary details (drafting hypothetical instead of just answering the questions)
Any tips on how to pull back and focus more at a higher level? I tried setting a stopwatch and allowing myself 8 min per game and 6 min per passage, and its so irritating not to be where I need to be.
I take the LSAT, Saturday -- yes, Saturday, so I need to strategize and improve quickly. Ive been awake and practicing for 32 hours now..... Nothing is unattainable.

First off, you're an idiot for studying like this so close to the test. Though, this doesn't surprise me based on your previous posting. If you don't have the timing down by now it's going to be very hard for you to get it by Saturday, especially if you are intent on fucking up your sleep schedule.LeVara2575 wrote:Only if the time element could be removed from the LSAT in its entirety, I would score perfectly!

If you are setting a stopwatch, are you constantly looking at it to check your remaining time? If so, you're doing it wrong.
Drafting hypotheticals isn't necessarily a wrong angle for the LG section, especially since there are a limited number of hypotheticals depending upon the game and the ones you make can answer 1 or more questions, or help you answer most of them. You shouldn't necessarily be writing them down though, or spending a lot of time on listing them out. They should be a natural part of the answering stage. If you immediately see a few baseline sequences that you can write out, list them so that you can easily fill them in later. Keep track of your sequences through the answering phase as well. Write faster? It's really hard to diagnose your problem without knowing what you're doing and how.
RC you likely just need to read faster and less thoroughly. Are you underlining key points or trying to memorize the passage? Again, it's hard to diagnose.
Regardless, the timing is there for a reason. Good luck on Saturday and don't be afraid to take off another year, as annoying as that may be.

Thanks for the research, doubt it will do much for your intellect, however. Since you have a hard time reading and comprehending, I simply asked for tips, not a psychoanalyst from an over-opinioned buff whos only enjoyment in life is scowling law school forms.
Considering this is all you probably have to offer, I will take your useless tip into consideration.
PS. There goes 5 min of your life you will never get back

JFC you are insufferable. Nobody wants to copy-pasta every single thing they know about timing skills because you are too pompous to express yourself a little better. You want tips? Go work at a restaurant. You want to figure out how to improve your timing skills? Either read one of the numerous LSAT study guides on this forum, hire a tutor, or describe what you are doing more in depth so that people can give you responses direct to your issues. I've already listed a few things that may be at issue with your test-taking, but like I said, it's hard to know what angle to approach without knowing how and what you're doing.LeVara2575 wrote:lymenheimer wrote:First off, you're an idiot for studying like this so close to the test. Quite frankly, on your accord, I have expressed myself well enough for you to have an opinion, considering you've done all your research on my post
Look, I get it- I was simply curious if anyone had any "quick win" tips - simple enough. Your initial name calling, is entirely unnecessary and unappreciated. Furthermore, I seriously doubt you communicate like that in person.
Good luck to you and thanks for your "tips"

Whoa hey how about some civility in these responses! What is this, Reddit?
