Not Thinking LSAT When Taking A Break

Post by LitigatingLiar » Wed Nov 11, 2015 6:20 pm

After noticing my scores going down I decided to put my stuff away for this week. I'll take a test on Saturday morning. However, I've found myself going over questions in my head and what i did wrong. How do you keep yourself from wandering back there? This morning I pulled out the Christmas decorations and started making sure that the light strands worked and even put a few up. I stopped and as I sit here my mind wanders back to missed questions.

I get super drunk the night I decided to take a break, and when I woke up it was in the afternoon the next day. I went out and took a boat tour, and had a fabulous dinner with my friend.

Another time I went to the nearest Six Flags and rode all the roller coasters. It is really hard to think of LSAT when you are on a roller coaster ride. That makes my mind relax for a whole day.

To tell the truth, I also find it hard relaxing b/c I literally forgot what life was like before LSAT

It's not so easy for me to get drunk like that anymore. I'm married with kids. Plus I don't care to get drunk anymore. I prefer to just sip a nice scotch as a way to relax. However, I can't do that at this point as I do want to test on Saturday but thanks for the suggestion. Now taking the boat out might be a good idea though.

Watch Master of None on netflix! It's great. That's what I did after work today- finished the entire season without thinking about LSAT. It does make you ponder about life towards the end and I began to think about my relationship with SO (not in a good way) so maybe watch just couple first epi?
