High scorers were down last cycle more than takers generally, and that stuff typically balances out. I don't see a positive way to spin this, honestly. Larger class in time for the next recession.

My positive way of spinning this: It won't be as good as last year, but it will still be better than most recent years and probably all succeeding years, and this is the first year I could apply anyway, so there's no point in crying about it.

It seems that the number of LSAT takers hasn't recovered to 2013-2014 levels. Although it is slightly higher than last cycle's levels. I'm guessing that there might be a modest uptick in applications? If that happens will law schools feel sufficiently confident enough to boost class sizes? I'm just worried that bigger class sizes will mean an exacerbation of the glut of new JDs.

This. Not much I can do about it; I should've done well enough on the June so I didn't have to retake in December. Oh well.

This would be a flaw on the LSAT assuming that what was true in the past will be true in the future, but this increase in test takers shouldn't be a problem, no? We are likely at the bottom now and are on our way up, but it's not like it will be 2009 levels over night. This cycle, and even the next few cycles, will be more like a rollback to 2011-2014, correct?
