If your target law school is Harvard & your LSAT score is above Harvard's median, then no need to retake--especially since your GPA is also above median.

I'd bet most of them didn't have to pay for it either though. Free HYS = the world's greatest networking opportunity, but sticker HYS = several years mandatory biglaw to pay off debt.

I disagree. Have you seen their low-income loan forgiveness program? It's the most generous out there. If you take a public sector job, Harvard will basically pay back most all of your loans for you. To top it off, they'll pay back $30k of your undergrad loans, and $5k of bar loans too!
