I have Pretzel Crisps, my preferred variety of bagged pretzels. Test center is literally less than 5 minutes from my hotel, and I'm having to force myself not to leave now.

Also ~ does anyone know approximately how long the test actually takes? I know there's a lot of paperwork and signing in at the beginning. If taking at 12:30pm, can I expect to be out by 5:30ish?

Every test center is different. Really depends on how long all the crap other than testing takes. Barring unforeseen delays, 5:30 sounds about right. Good luck today!

To alleviate some of my fear of the unknown... can any former test takers attest to what all the 'paperwork' consists of? Obviously your info on the answer sheet... anything else? Do we need to know our LSAC pin?

During both october and december 2015 exams we were all checked into the room and ready to begin no more than 5 minutes after the printed time on the ticket. "Paperwork" was just handing out booklets, filling in tickets and answer sheets, etc. and in theory should take no more than 10 minutes, which is consistent with my experiences. I started writing the test 15 minutes after the time on the ticket.

I've heard horror stories though of people waiting insane amounts of time for various reasons. Don't go in and "expect" anything, though, but also fear nothing. You'll do fine, and good luck to you too!

ETA: wow I totally misread your question and only noticed after I saw Tycho's reponse. I thought you were asking about how long each thing takes out of fear of not starting on time, not what you need to know. Either way, if you have the items they told you to bring you're fine and don't need anything extra.

Well, threadmates (??), after countless hours of LG drilling the "click" moment that so many talk about finally happened.

All 10 of the LG I drilled today were finished under the 7Sage time, with some being by several minutes.

By focusing on the "important" game pieces I was able to keep my head from getting too clogged and not miss a single inference (and only two questions total!)!

I have been repeating a motto to myself every day before drilling. I learned it while racing & autocrossing, but I know it originates in the Military: Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast.

This has kept me from making dumb mistakes (missing rules in LG, key words in LR), and it also takes my mind off of time; thus limiting panic.

I would literally suck a dick to have this happen to me.
