Hello,
I took the Oct. LSAT but I am sure I scored lower than in my PTs. How should I study for my December retake? Is it a good idea to just take practice tests up until the tests? I have a 7sage account and it shows which are my weaknesses in LR. Should I drill for a few weeks and then start taking PTs?
Thanks!

As a retaker, you should definitely be taking some preptests on a regular basis. Be prepared to up the ante once November rolls on. If you can do several (3-4) per week, that'll help your endurance tremendously.calmike wrote:Hello,

Don't forget the importance of careful review, though. It's one thing to just steamroll through PTs, and another thing entirely to get as much as you can out of reviewing each one. For each question you got wrong, be sure you're clear on why why each and every wrong answer is wrong. Since you've practiced and studied a fair amount already, many of the mistakes you'll be making will come from bad habits or certain situations/phrases that you struggle with. If you're thorough with reviewing, you'll be much more likely to spot these in the future. If not, you might just keep on making them again and again.
Before you drill your weaknesses in LR, make sure you go back and review your strategies for how to solve them. I always encourage Blueprint students to re-read the lessons explaining those q. types, and to focus on each step of the method. Chances are, there's a step you tend to skip, or that you're doing wrong or inefficiently. And again, take your time while reviewing these. You may have a major breakthrough on a seemingly innocuous question. It happens all the time. *puts on shades*

This advice was amazing! Thank you so much!
I will plan to take 12 PTs in the next few weeks with enough time in between to thoroughly review each question.
