Enough?

Post by TrunksFan1 » Tue Oct 13, 2015 4:48 pm

Hey everyone, I just recently finished a prep course with one of the better test prep companies out there, and I'm feeling better about the LSAT for sure. I would LIKE to take the LSAT in December, only because I want to enter this cycle of admissions, BUT I'm afraid I might not be where I want to be (170s) by that time. I have a solid 52 days of drilling I can use before the test, but is that a reasonable amount of time to get to that threshold, now having a good foundation for what I should expect to see on the test?

Depends on where you're currently scoring, how much time you can devote, what materials you're using, etc.

It seems impossible to answer this question without knowing where you are now. If you are in the 165 range, for instance, I would say 52 days is enough time. It seems less likely if you're scoring in the 150s right now. But anything is possible - you might go from 155 to 170 in 52 days, or you might not improve at all.

I mean I have all the PS Bibles, all the Manhattan books, all of the "official Prep Test" books. So I think I have the materials covered. The highest PT i've had so far was a 161, so I',m still a ways off. And I will MAKE the time until the December test. I'm just afraid of idk I guess putting in all of this work and then not truly being ready for this cycle. Has anyone else had any stories of their own upshoot in scores within a similar time frame?

i went from 160 to high 160s and finally a several low 170s scores on PTs in the last 6 weeks before oct test. feel like things went well on oct test for at least high 160s maybe 170-172 but idk till scores come out and hoping the 3 point test day drop didn't happen to me cuz my last 5 PTs were all 170-172. I'd say it's possible if you bust ur arse.
