Re: Saturday Observers Test. Which LG was real?

The first one was SUPER Easy, I finished it with just enough time to spare. The second LG was my fourth section, was insanely hard, and scared the crap out of me. I frankly couldn't complete the 3rd and 4th game, besides for the setup questions. These 2 games echoed back to "mauve dino" difficulty, IMHO. With tons of possible solution sets, and weird rules.

I'm praying that the first section was real. I could see myself getting 2/3 wrong on it, but if the second set was real, I expect a minimum of 10 wrong. PLS someone tell me you didn't get the "Irrigation/Fertilized Potato slot 3 game" as game 3. PLS.

If not, how do non-Saturday curved grades work? If we all missed these, do I have a chance of getting a decent grade?

Also, based on the odds of there being a super EZ real set, or a super HARD set (multiple combinations of hybrid games, weird rules), which is more likely? If it helps, the other 4 sections of the test were fairly easy in comparison.

Thx.

Looks like I'm in massive trouble then. The test section was apparently the same as the December 2013 one, from this thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 4&start=50

The farming, hotel, symphony section. OMG. I definitely missed 2 entire games, and at least 2 from the first easier game. I'm doomed.

Sigh.... And the rest of the test felt so good too. Going to be on the lower end of my average PTs, at a (maybe) 160. I had been getting 167-8 fairly consistently. Unless the curve is the same from Dec. 2013 and it's a super low curve.

I would also like to know the answer to this. I had two LG as well (RC-LG-LR-LG-LR). My last LG contained an irrigation/fertilization game, and I could not figure out the penultimate question. Then on the last game I read a rule wrong, and had to diagram again, but managed to answer the last questions even with five minutes remaining. I wasn't able to double check though, and I diagrammed really quickly. Could have easily got a couple wrong. I hope the first LG is the real one!

Naw, it's the second one. The link I posted is pretty definitive. And I got the 3rd one entirely wrong except for the setup Q. Took 12 minutes on game 3, and the easier game 4 I barely had time to complete. Game 2 was hard for me for some reason. Damn symphony.

Do you think the curve will help for game 3? If so, what would a curve do to our scores?

Im
I'm not great at this forecasting stuff at all haha. I don't think the third game was that bad honestly, just maybe you had to do a little bit of brute forcing. Could have also made two templates based on if V was before R or after R, now that I think about it. I think just one question was insanely difficult, and the others you maybe had to do a bit of brute forcing.

I think it was a pretty standard LSAT, so I'm betting we will be graded as such. Although I did think RC was on. The more difficult side. I do hope we have a forgiving curve, but I doubt it. :(

I made the 2 templates, guess I just got to the hard question, got overwhelmed and gave up on the rest.

The brute forcing for question 2 or 3 took me SO long. Was 2/3 the hard one? (don't rememeber which one got me)

You mean question 2 of 3 or the farming (fertilization/irrigation) game? I think I had to brute force, but I can't remember. I've been dependent on templates for so long that working with a non-template game gives me a feeling of uneasiness. I just remember the second to last question being difficult (I don't remember what number, it might have been number 5 of that game). It was a must be trepue, but a complicated one (like a certain plant is the number 3 always irritated). I skipped it and came back to it with a minute to spare (and I am pretty sure I did not answer it correctly).

Oh well! Gonna wait for my score and if it is lower than a 170 (highly likely), going to take the December one. It's unfortunate the normal registration deadline will pass before we get our scores.
