I don't think you were completely wrong about law schools being able to see your score.gamerish wrote:I just realized what a stupid question that was. We literally have to pay to send our scores to schools, of course they wouldn't have them lol. I am useless without coffee.EnderWiggin wrote:This seems unlikely.sollos wrote:I hope not, if the caliber of schools emailing me is of any indication of my LSAT score...gamerish wrote:Do schools get our scores before we do? Because I've been getting about 5ish emails from schools a day and today I woke up to 29 of them...
There's any number of reasons that schools may choose to email you, many of which have to do with the information you elected to include in your CAS profile. Gpa, any states you selected as places where you are interested in attending law school, URM status, etc.
LSAC mentions your LSAT score as being one item of your profile that is shared to law schools through the CRS:
Through CRS, law schools may recruit potential applicants on the basis of specific characteristics, such as LSAT score, GPA, age, citizenship, race/ethnicity, or geographic location. When you register for CRS, you authorize LSAC to share the following information with law schools, agencies or individuals working on their behalf, and other eligible programs related to legal education: your biographical information, all of the information in your CRS profile, and your LSAT and GPA information. The information will be used solely to bring to your attention current and prospective educational and financial opportunities that may be available to you.

sollos's concern was that they could already see scores from the October test. They can't.

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Got my international transcript evaluation back just now, Above Average.
Still have absolutely no clue whatsoever about how these evaluations are compared to GPAs so dunno how this affects my application, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
