Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
My pic was created back toward the end of June a week before June scores came out. Little did I know that it would end up referring to not only my prediction for the Cubs (which so far has turned out to be true with the wild card game) but also having to await the October LSAT and this score release. We still have Gamerish, though he did get lost in an abyss of LG-related despair for a month or so lolMcJimJam wrote:Thought everybody from (early) June died (nlee is already a ghost and RZ doesn't count), I missed you Jackel!

I'm one of the originals who read all the books that were released before the show had even come out, or even knew there would be an adaptation.SirArthurDayne wrote:Do you read the books or just watch the show?cub1014 wrote:My pic was created back toward the end of June a week before June scores came out. My username because piano lessons were super mandatory for my family (two of the three of us of us ended up as piano majors). And Picard drinking Earl Grey because Star Trek is important and tea is important.cub1014 wrote:I think a good topic would be what is the story behind each of your usernames or pictures?

Haha thanks MJJ! Yeah, I disappeared from TLS after June. Probably a combination between being busy and most TLS friends moving on also.McJimJam wrote:Thought everybody from (early) June died (nlee is already a ghost and RZ doesn't count), I missed you Jackel!

I'd go with a Nexus if I were you. Moto just fucked over a lot of people regarding updates, while Nexus phones will always be the first to get updated. I have a Nexus 5 and I love it; I plan on keeping it at least another year.McJimJam wrote:So I've been debating on a new phone trying to decide between the Moto X Pure and the Nexus 6P, anyone have any suggestions? Might just give in and settle for an iPhone and say good riddance my wallet!

Agreed, I love everything about Windows phones except the Windows part lol. Microsoft needs to get their shit together with a better app ecosystem, but they're like 5+ years behind Apple and Android.McJimJam wrote:I was kinda leaning that way, I had a nexus 5 (really liked it) too broke it about a month ago and have been using my old lumia phone. On a separate note I hate windows phones! I mean I like the lumia's themselves but its soooo limiting!

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
My hope would be that the book is released this spring just before the next season starts. I'm going to find it very difficult to watch before reading the book, so I might hold out if that's the case. I almost wonder if GRRM is pulling a fast one on us, and has been working on both WoW and ADOS at the same time. That would be the best case scenario. Then again, he takes forever to write since he has all of those side projects and novelas he likes to write.SirArthurDayne wrote:Awesome. I've listened to the audio books twice now, they're great. When do you think Winds of Winter will be out, and what are your thought on the last season? I think GRRM is taking his grand ole time and won't get it out before next season.cub1014 wrote:I'm one of the originals who read all the books that were released before the show had even come out, or even knew there would be an adaptation.SirArthurDayne wrote:Do you read the books or just watch the show?cub1014 wrote:My pic was created back toward the end of June a week before June scores came out. I love my Nexus 5, and if I had the money I'd definitely upgrade to the 6. I cast another vote for the Nexus 6.

It's some of the best hardware on the market, and it is (or was) subsidized by Microsoft, so you can get a $500+ phone for like $100.McJimJam wrote:Plus nokia has some god damn impervious phones, I've literally hammered in nails without the slightest mark haha.

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Hey guys,
Sorry to bring this back on topic... I've been lurking here since the test and have spent the last couple days in a state of neurosis. I'm curious to know if anybody remembers how many questions were in LG3? I feel pretty confident that I went -0 on games 1, 2 and 4 but I know I probably missed a few on LG3. It'll help my little neurosis to know how many questions were on that game, because I can better parse how I did on that section overall. Thanks, and good luck everybody!
